Lunch

My wife is in Canada.

In her absence, I am currently microwaving no-name Spam for my lunch.

I will eat it with ramen.

Do I really need to write anything else?

  1. Isn’t Spam the name for what you say is not named Spam?

  2. Well, technically, Spam is a brand name. What I ate was not actually name-brand Spam, hence, no-name Spam.

  3. So you were eating no-name viagra ads and nigerian finance emails?

    I don’t understand!!?!?!??!!?!?

    😛

  4. Something like that, but with less real meat.

  5. There’s a spamusement comic to be made here. Somewhere…

  6. I expect so.

  7. I have visited the SPAM museum in Austin, MN. It’s a lot of fun. They sell SPAM everything.

At the health club, I wear a bright yellow T-shirt with SPAM emblazoned across the front in big Navy blue letters, with matching Navy blue SPAM shorts. It is somehow poetic.

  8. I respect that.

And I think we have our Spamusement comic.

  9. Thank you.

    I think.

  10. http://www.spam.com/museum/

There are at least two restaurants in Austin that serve genuine SPAMburgers.

  11. Very cool. A little out of my way, perhaps, but cool none the less. I understand that Spam is very popular in Hawaii. That’s a little closer to where I am.

  12. The French LOVE Spam!

    Go figure!

  13. Can I have the spam, eggs, sausage and spam without the spam?

  14. What, eggs and sausage without the Spam? Blecchh!!

  15. I’ve never had a thread with fifteen responses.

  16. LOL, neither have I, and this is not the post I expected to have any discussion.

    It’s the power of Spam.
